Our Club

Since its inception in 1991, homeowners at The Venice Golf and Country Club have enjoyed the benefits of being a member-owned golf and country club community. Requisite membership is key to sustaining the economic viability of the Club and Community.

The Venice Golf and Country Club is situated in an exclusive Southwest Florida location just minutes from the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico at Venice Beach.

Convenient to both Interstate 75 and U.S. 41, The Venice Golf and Country Club is a virtual gateway to everywhere you want to be. From the vibrancy and cultural appeal of downtown Sarasota to the big-city adventures of Tampa, Naples, Orlando and more, life at The Venice Golf and Country Club puts you close to it all!

There are 587 properties within our gates. The VGCC Master Association is charged with maintaining the common grounds and standards of the Community, including our private roadways, entry gates, gatehouse security, landscaping, nature preserves and wildlife sanctuaries. One acre of secured area is available to members for outside storage of recreational vehicles.

Our Community is committed to creating and maintaining an environmentally friendly oasis. VGCC is a carbon neutral community, and actually sequesters more carbon than we use.

Six of the neighborhoods within VGCC are designated as "Maintained Neighborhoods." Within these neighborhoods, amenities include exterior maintenance, common pools and a variety of events.

Over the years, the VGCC Foundation has provided support to approximately 80 different nonprofit agencies with grants totaling more than $800,000.
